Professional Experience
Don has lived in the Saratoga Springs area since 2001. He grew up in Franklin Square, NY, before attending and graduating from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. In September 2001 Don began his career with a local bank where he gained experience and knowledge in a variety of roles over time. He held positions as a branch manager, consumer loan officer, commercial loan officer, business development officer, and property/casualty insurance producer. These various opportunities allowed him to learn about many different aspects of banking, such as reconciling accounts, reading and understanding financial statements, how banks make loan decisions, and insurance. After 16 years with the bank, Don decided to make his dream of owning a business a reality and created Fendale, LLC. He’s always been a detail-oriented “numbers guy,” so a bookkeeping service was a natural fit for him to utilize his skills.
Community Involvement
Don believes strongly in giving back, helping those in need, and is very involved in the community. He is a 15-year member of the Wilton Rotary Club, having served as President and Treasurer. Don has proudly served on the boards of directors for the Children’s Museum of Saratoga, Transitional Services Association, Shelters of Saratoga and coached his kids’ little league teams. Don is also an active parishioner at the Presbyterian-New England Congregational Church and served a three year term on its Governing Board. Lastly, Don is a 2007 graduate of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Saratoga program.
